Day Care
Adult Day Care is a program designed specially for
family members caring for a loved one at home. This program
allows the caregiver to place their loved one in a supervised, warm, and
caring environment up to ten
hours daily.
Participants in the program may choose to spend part of the day at various activities
or scheduled excursions. Group activities and intergenerational programs provide
stimulating opportunities for socialization and reminiscence.
Support Groups
In affiliation with the Alzheimer's Association, support
groups are offered to provide assistance to the families of those with Alzheimer's
disease.
The support group and education given provide strength and courage to a loved
one's family and friends. The group provides the opportunity to meet in a mutually
supportive atmosphere, creating a community of care. |
